FEAST! Is a biting new satire that explores the fine line between self-identified American Liberals and Conservatives, culture wars, marriage and accountability.
Commissioned by the Alcove at the Lortel. Developed at Primary Stages’ Dorothy Strelsin New American Writers Group and the Alcove.
About the Playwright
Calamity West is a Chicago-based playwright. Her works have been seen at Jackalope Theatre, where she is a company member, as well as Steep Theatre, Sideshow Theatre, Interrobang, and Goodman Theatre’s New Stages Residency. She has been commissioned by the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
About the Director
Elly Green is a London based theatre director. She spent a decade working in Chicago where she was an ensemble member of Strawdog Theater and Sideshow Theatre. In the Uk she has worked with the Royal National, Almeida, Paines Plough, and Gate Theatre. She is co-founder of Brother Tongue, a company focused on new translations of European work.
